Winters ThrowsAt winters whrows,
A pale sheet falls,
The child lays,
In freezing heat.
Lone droplet hangs,
Glistening crime,
Born in wells of pain.
She,
Naked as purple lips,
Slow breath out,
Spouts plums of warm life.
To quivering voice,
She whimpers.
My shaking hands,
Brush fragile roots,
Wilted brown,
Once magnificent crown.
Fallen leaves as skin flakes,
Ripe and soft,
Now bronzed and dry.
To putrid sky,
Black as hate.
Earth child lays,
Waiting to die.
