a huge pikachu painting. this thing is over 2 feet tall, that's the biggest canvas i've ever worked with!

i started this during the hurricane sandy blackout because i was bored and decided to make use of this canvas that i only bought because it was on sale years ago. i decided on pikachu since i couldn't look up references (no electricity) and i had pikachu stickers to look at so i didn't make any mistakes. but i ran out of paint and once it got dark i couldn't keep painting.

eventually, i bought some new acrylic paints and decided to practice since i've never been too good at traditional painting... couldn't decide what to do with the bg. i knew i wanted something simple because i didn't want to get too carried away and end up messing it up or running out of paint, so there we go, a gradient. it's something...
