For those of you who check my scraps, you'll know this picture already. For those of you who don't... I put it in my scraps when it wasn't completely done.
Anywho, this is my character Numoryn whose name I use as my SN as well... she's that alternative persona that I never had... Riiiight. So yeah... This is the planned cover for chapter one of the webcomic that I'm still attempting to make. I actually am on page three at the moment, but I don't really want to paste them all over the internet until I actually have a webcomic space. So good luck to me on that. 
Nothing like a good old gradiant background to make the type easier to read and make my head hurt less when it comes to putting stuff in the big empty space. Eh heh heh...
EDIT: Thanks to everyone for the suggestions for the background as well as to Scully7491 whose maple leaf brush I used for the background texture. I really love how that wierd pattern thing turned out as I just decided to try my hand at it. So yeah, looks better now I think.

Looking good. *whistles at Ryn* Whata hottie! I sort of agree about the background thing. Perhaps even something a little textured would help keep it from looking plain. In any case it is a great start!

I agree with you about my background. The green gradation was my copout so to speak as the what's and how's of backgrounds always leave me with those huge question marks over my head.

Hmm, I believe theres JellyCreations.com (thats what I use, but its down for updates and maitenance right now)
There was on with the word duck in it, like DinoDuck.com or nitroduck.com or somethign, sorry if I cant remember >.<
Theres Keenspace or keenspot. One of those is a free webcomic hosting place.
And of course, you could always make your own page with like html or somehting and buy rights to a space of the internet, or lease it.
