Phenomenal photograph: both visually striking, and wryly humorous! The woman reaching out to the wall to steady herself makes the viewer sympathetically feel the dizzying effect of the stair and the tile much more strongly than would a picture of the same staircase without a human figure. (It makes you wonder what the decorator who put those tiles on the staircase could possibly have been thinking!) Black and white really makes the patterned tile stand out! I like the contrast between the crispness of the tile pattern and the more organic textures of the other surfaces. The strong diagonal lines in the tile and the interesting perspective of the twisting stair with its unevenly-spaced landings combine to create a sort of Pop Art or M.C. Escher effect. Very nicely captured!

I would be dizzy walking up those stairs, the pattern is
very busy...I would use the handrail and hold on very tight, lol.
