Wonderful shot. We call them "petirrojos" (red chest) They are very common in the place I live. The problem is that people donΒ΄t realize they are around them because their wings are brown and, here, in Madrid, most of the birds have that color to vanish in the yellow and brown landscape. It seems as he would have a little had in his head.

Thanks very much, these guys were voted the UK's favourite bird a few years ago. They can be retty bold, esecially in the winter when they are looking for food. Not sure why but they are associated with Xmas here as you often get them on cards.
