Using dholmes words "what i wouldn't give to be able to experience your work in person at a gallery".
It is, in fact, extraordinary. Well, Helder, I hope to have that opportunity, since we are almost neighbours.
Please let me know if you ever make an exibition here. I would be pleased to see them, live and color.
Excellent work, what else can I say?
It's extraordinary, you're an amazing artist.
AtΓ© breve.

Great job with the subtle layering of colours, that is something I find hard to achieve.
On a side note it's good to see there is still someone here working with traditional media that is paint on canvas.

great colors and forms, I love how you manage an antique old masters kinda feel in a lot of your stuff. that hiding head frustrates me though, I wanna see the chin!

oh my god... the smoothness... aaawesome. really really beautyful shapes and colors here.
that facing looking to the left is what i love the most in this painting, just after the wicked pose of the arm at the right.
i love it!

Your last oil as in the more frequent? or the final painting?
Either way, this has warm, yet dark colors. He looks lonely. The colors look like you tried to warm him up. He looks as if he needs someone to be with.
Looks really nice. Really nice.
Good Job! Good Job

ItΒ΄s quite some time ago I saw a painting as impressing as this one. ItΒ΄s a wonderful work, somewhere between marc and cezanne. As dholms stated, I would love to see your works in person, too. Maybe itΒ΄s possible, since portugal isnΒ΄t that far from germany.

in person at a gallery.
it's extraordinary.
as getcarter said, you're use of color and form are remarkable.
so rich with detail and texture.
truly inspiring.
i'm so sorry i keep saying the same things.
do something that sucks then.
i'd probably still love it.

the abstract orange-yellow figure somehow resembles fruit -- specifically a nectarine. this really draws the viewer in, and the lusciousness of the rich, soft color creates the sensation of the texture of fruit on my tongue, but when i see the red colors surrounding the center, the welcoming taste of the nectarine is gone -- only to be replaced by the metallic sensation of the blood.
amazing work -- this is actually the first piece that i have ever seen that has actually had an effect on my taste buds. perhaps this is a new concept of art? amazing.

this is beautiful - i am in love with oil paintings. i had neve rpainted in my life until about 3 months ago and hasve fallen in love with the process and gained a whole new appreciation for artists that work in the medium. i am no where near as good as you but love it none the less.
