Description
NOTE! If you want a larger pixel size version of these pictures, or ones that aren't sharpened, just ask! The original versions of these pictures are all at 1536x2048, and while I refuse to POST those sized pictures here I am not against sending a larger sized version to you if you want them.

Here's the deal:
-Ask for a larger sized version and I'll send you one at 1280x960 pixels. (If I know you well enough and trust you though, I'll probably send you one at a higher resolution than that. [Though not as high as the commercial version.])
-However, if you want to use these for commercial uses send me a note to discuss payments and such and I'll send you the 1536x2048 version. =/

Taken at: Golden Gate Fields, CA. August 21st, 2011.

Read the rules in my journal if you wish to use this image. If you understand them and still wish to use this then please leave me a note/comment/etc so that I can know.

Note:
I'm back baby!
Sorry for not posting in awhile. The last few months have been interesting to say the least... Got a new computer after my last one died, thank goodness they were able to save all my photos, and then just completely lost any ambition to take photos for a good long time. Now I'm back and more annoying than ever! You won't get rid of me so easily again!

Note2: I had to change one of my watermarks slightly.. The version of photoshop the computer techs uploaded on my new computer no longer has the 'Harrington' font.. *insert sad face here*

Note3: This is a shot I've been wanting to get for awhile now.. I practically rushed home after this because I was so excited.. xD I also got another GREAT rearing shot earlier in the day, but it was so damn blurry that I won't post it. It'll stay in my personal use art stock though. :3

This is the first time I've seen an older horse totally freak out in the saddling area at the track. According to the daily track guide this horse was a six year old, more than old enough to know better, and yet it threw a hissy fit the likes of which would have made even the two year olds that ran before it shaking their heads in wonder. I guess it was just having a bad day.

What exactly do you mean by blends? I'm not familiar with the term.

take a look in my gallery. it is in the simple way: mirror 2 pictures en let it look as 1 picture. But you can make beautyfull things with it.

Ah those, sure. I'm fine with you making manips out of it - I just got confused since I thought it might have also meant that tack removals.

Great photo.

With the font, I've lost various fonts between computer replacements over the years. I've been able to replace all of them that I've actually used by googling the font name with "free download" and it's worked good for me. Maybe you can find your Harrington font that way.

Fantastic timing on this one! I love that you got it from the back end of the horse. It really shows off his muscling on his hindquarters

Thanks! I was amazed that I was able to capture it, especially since I had considered moving to a different position in the saddling area only a few minutes before - which would have changed or taken my chance to get the shot entirely. I just wish the first picture I took from an earlier race worked out. It's a straight on shot looking at the horse's back as it begins to rear, the angle of which makes it almost looks like the horse is preparing to sit down in a chair. It looked really awesome in my viewfinder, especially since several of the grooms are holding on for dear life, but it was just too blurry to justify being posted.. D: Made me a sad panda.

To be fair, this is a pretty rare occurance at the tracks that I go to, and only usually happens with green horses. It's pretty rare for older more seasoned horses to throw fits like this, at least from my experience.

SilverFoxCustom In reply to Nyaorestock [2011-08-22 21:29:58 +0000 UTC]

No I just mean their overall high strung. I prefer more relaxed horses that dont jitter around like they are hiped up on caffine or something.

Ah, I see. Gotta agree that the more relaxed a horse is the nicer it is to be around.
