Eighth page of our Fantasy Webcomic intro chapter. The original version of this page contains adult content and so has been modified for uploading to DA to abide by submission rules, the original page is posted elsewhere and will be posted on the webcomics own site when that goes live.In other news I reckon I've finally settled on a title, Saito The Samurai, covering him and his many misadventures, what do people think?

Yeh man, its getting well hard, I wanted something, two or three words, to sum up the world they live in, but it also has to hint at the Meta-Plot, and it also has to be memorable.
Assassins Creed, Gears of War, Elder Scrolls, these names all do it, I just need to find my own.

I like the title. Short, simple, and without any boring attempts to look 'unique'. I really like it.

I'm actually starting to have second thoughts about the title, its started to sound like a cartoon book a pre-schooler might get to help them to read, following Saito the Samurai like Bob the Builder or something...

It's just my opinion, and I may be wrong, but I think that a 'simple' title is way better than another 'Glowing lavender leaves in a crystal water of a mystic lake' attempt to show off. (many girl-writers do that, and it looks quite childish)
If I may say, I'd play with Japanese traditions/other stuff. For example, 'The way of the samurai' -> 'The way of the adventurer', or something like that.

Oh I agree, long titles like that are hard to remember and a bit too fanciful for the comic I'm trying to make, and that is a good suggestion, especially the Japanese phrasing, since this comic will have some eastern focus.
What I was trying to go for was a good short, two or three word phrase to set the comic, a simple phrase, short and catchy, easily remembered that hints twoards the content of the comic. Stuff like Assassins Creed, Game of Thrones, Prince of Persia etc. They all hint at what their work is about and are dinstinctive enough to be remembered, vague ones work aswell if the setting isn't too specific, like Forgotten Realms, Star Wars etc.
I was up all night scribbling down good sounding Fantasy words and trying to connect them in a good and meaningful phrase, words like; Samurai, Ronin, East, Lost, Darkness, Broken, Cycle, Age. Some ideas stand out, like Broken Realm or Lost Age... but I still can't make my mind up.
Its really annoying too cause everything else is good to go, but to set up the website I need the name.

Aye, after working on it for most of the day I finally settled on it, Kohta The Samurai.
I had another problem with his name and situation being too similar apparently to an anime show, so to avoid any hassle I'm changing his name from Saito to Kohta, small change at the moment, but it did mean that his title is now Khota the Samurai, which gets rid of the alliteration that was bothering me before and I reconsidered his title as the name of the comic.
You were right a simple title like that is very appealing, plus it can be the informal title for the series, with the individual stories being more like the old magazine titles, like the Conan The Barbarian serials.

I purchased the domain last night and installed wordpress, the site is kinda barebones right now, and probably will be for a few more days, but its up and online, and somewhere to put the webcomic, man I'm well chuffed, to have a proper comic site online is, well really big for atm.

Cheers mate, I'm really chuffed and greatful for all the advice and feedback I've been getting.
Right now the main objective is to get it up online, then to get it into some proper webcomic like look, where you can just click through images like normal. Once that's done and everything is running smoothly I can add all the extra features I want.
As for background information conerning the world and such, I don't think I will post a lot of that to begin with, I've got a good idea of the setting but I want to keep it simple in the beginning, let the world unfold as the story goes on and more of it is explored by the characters.
