Yeah. I've started drying pieces on top of an upside-down crate, so that some air can get to the underside. One problem I have is that the top part dries (and hence, shrinks) faster, which makes things curl up. If I get more air underneath, then the drying is more even, and things warp less.
Always learning new tricks...
