*Update 4: I've given up on trying to keep it a reasonable size. It's big as hell, and I really don't care--------
NOTICE:
1 - This roster is comprised of personal choices for characters, with a fair amount of personal bias. Please do not tell me "___ would be better than ___", "they would never add ___" or "you should have picked ___". If there is a character you'd prefer that isn't here, feel free to tell me, but please don't try to change my mind because you don't like what you see--
2. I understand this roster is unrealistically big, and many characters have no chance due to relevance, legal issues etc. This is just a sum-up of characters I'd be happy to see.
3. This list is subject to change at any time with no warning.

A goomba is a funny pick, but I don't see a good egnoth moveset for them. I'd say shy guy is a more versatile character and could be a Yoshi rep (Magic Koopa would also work)
I have nothing against Skull kid, but isn't Vaati a more iconic villain?
I'm have nothing against Camilla, but doesn't Azura make more sense? Also if a Nohr character got added in smash I would also add a hoshido character (So either Takumi because popularity or Hinoka because she's the big sis sibling depending on what you see fit best) for fairness to both versions of fates?
And I've already said what I think about Rowan and the two ARMS reps

I was actually gonna go back and switch Skull Kid out for Ghirahim or Vaati. Ghirahim seems more iconic, and if I heard right Skull Kid didn't do much besides teleport and float--
And really, Goombas actually have a ton going for them, and I came up with a solid moveset pretty easily; their normal attacks would consist mainly of kicking, possibly even biting. Their smash attacks can incorporate a bat, since they've wielded them in sports games, and the Spiky Goomba helmets from Paper Mario, and their aerials can utilize the Tanooki tail they often use. Their basic special can be a headbonk, like the one in Bowser's Minions, their side-special can be the jumping pounce that Cat Goombas have in 3D World, their down-special can use the Prickly Goomba's shell as a sort of harmful shield-counter, their up-special would be the Paragoomba's wings to recover, and their Final Smash can be to stomp around with the Kuribo Shoe from Mario 3.

Yeah, SK didn't do much in MM. I still think Vaati should be added before Ghirahim, SS isn't that relevant right now and Vaati is the most recurring villain ad would represent the 2d zelda games
