The eternal classic tutorial for Blender beginners.
Being fiddling with Blender for a while now, I decided to go back and make Andrew's donut to see what would happen.
This was very quick to do and it was truly amazing to see the length of that tutorial video serie. Every little detail was explained by Andrew Price, to an extreme.

Andrew is really skilled and has the best tutorials around, however, I feel like having anxiety attacks while watching his videos. Sounds like he has 10 cans of "Red Bull" before filming.
But, so far we learn all good staff from his tuts. Revisiting his tutorials after some time gives better details on areas we did not know about before.

Thanks! I have not watched many of his tutorial videos at large, but mainly a few important ones while discovering Blender, and Andrew really is a talented teacher.
His principled shaders (PBR material) and Filmic color management videos were pivotal for me.

we do not have to worry about Filmic now, it's part of 2.79 and also 2.8.
however, having a perfectly calibrated screen helps.

True, but the way he explained the lighting and range of filmic and why it's superior was interesting
