A wonderful shot out in the "wildes" of Peachland, Kelowna area.

Apologies for being absent.. this past few months have been pretty difficult for me. Not only has "work" been exhaustive but I've been trying my darndest to get a fund raiser for Ocean Cyclist set up to run (but that, in and of itself, is difficult when work demands so much day to day... as in 7 days a week... time)..

On the UpSide, I started writing a new chapter for a new book.. which got me super excited. It's super fun to write. Or, at least.. it was until the other week when the writing brought me back.. right back.. to a very painful day/ period in my history that showed me where I started to fall from grace, as the saying goes. So, the past few weeks have been fraught with introspection and examination.. and I'm going back to the canvass, literally, and starting to create 2D artwork like I used to in the 90's... possibly, after a jaunt to Edmonton next month, I'll add 3D soapstone to the list as well. The artistic creation is paultice.. is calming.. is helping me work through those built up issues.
