Description
I saw earlier this week that an artist I watch was holding a seven day color challenge. Basically each day we create a new piece of art with the color theme following the guidelines of that day.Today was the start of this fun task, so I'ma give my best crack at it. I wouldn't usually post a dull picture like this to my Deviantart, but well contest rules haha.
The alternative title was something like "Welcome Home." Almaca's home doesn't meet a very nice end during his childhood years, not a lot left of it but bloody water. Suppose you'll all have to wait and see how that tale plays out over time now won'tcha!
If you guys are interested in looking into this challenge I recommend you go here: 7 Days Color ChallengeFirstly, thank you all for the joining this second drawing challenge, I can't wait to see what you guys will come up with ^_^
I know time zones are always confusing. As I write this journal it's Friday 5th, June, 13:00 o'clock where I live. The challenge starts counting from now on. That means all of the challenge days ends by 13:00 o'clock ( based on Brasilia Timezone, where I live) .
For those who already submitted the 1st drawing, it's okay as long as it's the red one!
If you can't join for any reason, don't worry! I'll be doing more Drawing Challenges in the future.
What's a 7 Days Color Challenge?
The challenge is drawing 7 different things based on 7 different colors. A color a day. By the end of the challenge you'll have a rainbow set of drawings to show ^_^
What about the Rules?
• It can be either traditional, digital or mi
I'd absolutely love to see some of you folks taking a crack at it with us!
Anywhoo's thank you for hosting this, and I can't wait to do tomorrow's theme!

What it lacks in detail, it makes up for with provoking feeling--
It's quite depressing, ahaha.. Having light shine on him while he stands there solitary in a river of blood and ruin. ;;; Mmmnh. Good work

That was what I was trying to aim for, however I wish I had more time to incorporate more of it into it. I guess I've become so accustomed to detail simplicity is difficult for me haha.
Yeaahhhhh, sad how no matter how much time passes you often will always bare the scars of your past.

Welllllll- it sorta lacks the complexity a majority of my images do, I suppose that is my main problem with it. I am still happy with the ending result just unacquainted with submitting something with so much less detail to it.
Thank you so much for saying so ;v;

red, the blood of angry men
black, the dark of ages past
red, the world about to dawn
black, the night that ends at last
but seriously though, amazing coloring there, not to mention the detailed background.
oooooooh gosh. when we learn about hid past.... *puts hand over heart*

Red, the fire burning in thy eye.
Black, the pit we see when we die.
Red, the rage that burns within.
Black, the soul of those whom sin.
Thanks! IT was a bit difficult for me to not ad an excess of details to this one I will admit. I wanted to put more into it, but simplicity seemed to suit it better.
I actually have already started working on showing bits and pieces of it~
Nice and happy family time now, not gonna stay that way I promise you that. BD

aha, i have a problem with not adding ENOUGH details more often, especially the backgrounds. i really must work on that.
YESSSS, i have seen that comic. i really like it so far, even if its only a few pages so far X3 i love their expressions so much
it didnt occur to me that that's his family- who is that, his dad or somethin?
but literally that entire time he's like "I WONDER... WHOS DOING THIS.. VERRRRRY DANGEROUS THING...." and Alma's just like *sweaTING NERVOUSLY*

Wow, usually with pictures of Alma, theres an abundance of cool tones, but with this sudden change into warmer tones, things really do look more..intense.

Honestly, I hadn't even realized that until you just said it!
I suppose with Alma I naturally wanna compliment with the cooler shades of the color spectrum, drawing him with a hotter palette was without a doubt a very different experience.
Thank you~!
