I'm getting back into the motions of drawing again after a long dip from my relocation to Denver! So of course, I decide the best way to go about celebrating my lack of art blockage is to create images of Enya.

I feel like my style is taking another shift recently, at least when it comes to the limb formations and how I draw those. Funny how sometimes after you take a break from art and come back to it you find subtle changes starting to occur in your art. Not that I dislike it, quite contrary I am quite excited with this development. It has been awhile since I have felt so confident in my art, not that I he distaste for my art or anything don't get the wrong idea.

Sometimes it just feels as if you're not making any progress, stuck in a loop and that everything you create seems the same. Maybe small alterations, but in essence a replica of something you'd previously created. I think it is important for people to improve, but also to take a step back when the opportunity arises. Take a break from your illustrations and then come back to it with fresh eyes. When we stare at something for so long we get a kind of tunnel vision, only see the imperfections. Taking a step away and coming back to it lets you see it with a new perspective and really see what it is you created. The good and the bad.
