Well, it depends. Futa is for characters that were originally female. if we see a character that looks femenine but with the male part, that will be more like a "trap".

I know the origin of futa/futanari, and that's not it. It's the Japanese word for hermaphrodite. It's usage may have evolved a bit, but that's not what the word was originally meant to be used for. Also, I'm pretty sure "trap" generally refers to a feminine or androgynous male in women's clothes (they generally don't have breasts). There isn't really a polite way to refer to a character with both breasts and a dick but no vagina, but dickgirl and shemale are the terms I generally hear (but I also hear they're not particularly nice to say outside of porn).
