Description
I still like the version with flat coloursssss. So it's here. In my scraps. Yes.Also with character descriptions and bigger pictures, many of them old and hilariously bad:
Mia: My first character on Pokémorph MUSH. Huge self-insert, lacked any concrete personality, was basically embarrassing. She was cute though. Created at about age 12. [Picture: [link] ]
Topaz: Protag of a Pokémorph fanfic I wrote called 'Silver Darkness', which was hilariously bad. I really, REALLY liked Lugias. There were plenty of Lugias in that story. [Picture: [link] ]
Luana: Minor character from Silver Darkness who I used to draw a lot anyway, because I just loved Ampharoses. She really doesn't have much going for her in terms of character, which is pretty much a common trait with all of these characters I made back then. [No pictures of her on dA. Sad times.]
Kye: Personal vent art character. Red wasn't her only colour, she also turned yellow, blue...maybe green, I don't know. Colours corresponded to the emotion she was meant to be portraying. [Picture: [link] ]
Mara: My second character for Pokémorph MUSH, a vast improvement on Mia. A bit too much of a Tragic Past, and she had colour changing eyes which is never a good sign, but in terms of her characterisation once you look past the angst she was...a lot better than Mia, at least. I'm still really fond of her. [Picture: [link] ]
Fluorspar: Another Eeveelution selfinsert. Mainly just part of a little group of self-insert characters belonging to my friends. [Picture: [link] ]
Silvertongue: Weird-looking dragon beastie I wrote a story about. Eventually abandoned and her name recycled for a different character. [Picture: [link] ]
Bianca Snowe: Really original name, I'm sure we all agree on that. Apparently a model, having no features works well for being a living mannequin. [Picture: [link] ]
Zomg and Fyre: A Charmander and Pikachu duo from a load of pretty ridiculous comics I made in year 9/10 or so. Don't ask why Fyre has purple stripes. I don't know. [Picture: [link] [link] ]
Purity: Albino Houndoom, neeearly a character I apped for Pokémorph. She existed to be a walking contradiction, pretty much. Her name, her colouration, it's all one big 'hahaha no'. Rebel girl who drew creepy art and wore a loooot of corsets. Back when I used to sell scans of my artwork for a few pence to people at school who wanted a copy, I think my drawing of her did the best. I wonder why. /snerk. [Picture: [link] ]
Miazzy: My first 'fursona', if you can call her that. I drew her a lot more than the one picture on my old dA suggests. [Picture: [link] ]
Skye and Sable: Alternate versions of the same character. I don't know how, considering the fact they change looks quite dramatically and actually change species, but let's not question my old logic. Skye was the more average 'me', and served as my main drawn avatar for myself, and was shy and awkward and yeah. Sable was the opposite of those things, and was the over-exaggerated idealised version who was all about extroversion and wearing no clothes. [Picture: [link] ]
Silvertongue mark II: A lamia, a minor character from a story I started writing when I was about fourteen. These being busts, you don't get to see the rest of her, but she's pretty dragony from the waist down. She spends a lot of time pursuing the oddly disinterested antagonist of the story and attempting to seduce him. She does manage it eventually. I attempted to write stories about her children (and, on another occasion, her distant decendant) but none of them ever got finished. Silver's design has been one that's changed a LOT over time. Cerulean: Dragon companion of the protag in the same story as Silvertongue. I don't have much to say about her, I just really liked her design and drew her all the time. Feathery dragons make me smile. [Picture: [link] ]
Cerise: Anthro dragon I designed maaaainly to make a costume of. I did succeed in making the head and tail of a draft version, but after that I kind of...never continued. I still have a whole bunch of quality blue and pink material stashed away though, so one day I might finish up that project. [Pictures and photographs: [link] [link] ]
Reyanahr: Number of Hs in her name seems to vary. Character from a story, she's effectively a luck goddess trapped in animal form and screwed over in all kinds of ways by a necromancer. She's got hellhound bits tacked onto her all over, she's all bitter and snarky from a few hundred years putting up with douchebags in the underworld, and...yeah! [Picture: Be warned, this one burns eyes. [link] ]
Chaos: Personal mascot critter. Started off as a demon/angel combo thing because ORIGINALITY IS MY TALENT SHUT UP and just sort of...took over Kye's place, while also being optionally cute and fuzzy. Versatile, this one. Not just a vent creature. Also a shape-shifter. [Picture: [link] ]
Zaenne, Rose and Quartz: Zaenne came into existence as an attempt to de-Pokémonify Mara. It didn't work quite as well as desired so she became a character in her own right, and eventually a story started being planned in which she was part of a group of five genetically engineered animal people. I can't remember what their purpose was. They're all varying fractions of different animals (Zae was like a wolf-skunk-fox-tiger or something. Rose is mainly dragon but part swan, and Quartz is more or less half and half squirrel/fennec fox.) and all have drastically different personalities. Zae is miss confident flirt flirt. Rose is level-headed and protective, and Quartz is overly skittish and shy which...wasn't intended by the people who created her. Rose looks after Quartz and they're basically in lesbians with one another. [Pictures: [link] [link] ]
Miuu: Mew/Umbreon hybrid thing I drew because it was cute. That is all. [Picture: [link] ]
Kleptomania: I wanted my own Heartless character, I made one. I was originally going to do videos in my Heartless costume as Klepto, but that never occurred because...I...don't get round to stuff. Which is probably good, really, in this case. [Picture: [link] ]
Zexo: What's a Kingdom Hearts fan without a Nobodysona? Zexo's element was...chaos, apparently... [Picture: [link] ]
Aether: Rave dragon. She's a rave dragon. She changed colour because who doesn't love colour changing things, amiright? [No good pictures of her, have a recent redraw of her as a human: [link] ]
Fuzzbutt: Anthro version of a sock monster I made for as a present. [Picture: [link] ]
Drew: My newest Pokémorph MUSH character, approved literally today! He's a transgender Nidoran. He's really shy, has a huge helper complex and has no idea what he's doing with his life. He'll get by, though, probably, on sweetness alone. He's really sweet. [Picture: [link] ]
Chaos Redesign: I revamped Chaos a few months back to make them less weird as a design and a character. Now with human forms! Ah yes. [Pictures: [link] [link] ]
Natrix: Fantroll! I'm still kind of working on her. She's not as surly as her face makes her out to be, she likes hacked or glitchy gamegrubs, sculpting, sweets, and subtly making an annoyance of herself. And axes. She likes axes too.
