Description
A trial page for a Graphic Novel I'm working on with a friend. This is intended to tie down the style of art used within the comic. It's set in the 1660's so I was going for that old fashioned engraving/ woodcut style.Will probably upload a coloured version soon
All criticism welcome.

This is just what I think myself...
but isn't that flares a bit big?
and the second is...Did you not consider that poe should actually stand in a thrust stance?
Because...take a look...how long do you think it takes for that chipping to reach the ground?...
I mean...the person who apperantly got bashed trhough this door is about to reach the ground... So either did he hit the door rather low...or...
However It look a bit wierd...take a look the scene we got here is going to be over in like 2-3 secunds... But already Poe recovered from the trhow he made..so either his rather fast or.... so was it a hella of long throw 
Now you either like Blehhh...
Or. liket his..Jikes stop write please!
But I just also want to add I like really how you made the wood... it look natural!
Now one last thing and its a question
How does the coal keep stay in those torchers? They like wideopen O_o...
