Description 9 diffused blood brushes. each brush is based on an image from texturemattic , and is used with permission.

you'll need to unzip the .abr file from within the zipped package, then install it into Photoshop using your own preferred method. mine is is click and drag the file into the Photoshop > Presets > Brushes folder. and yes, it's a large file, but, in the immortal words of Julie Brown .. "i like 'em big."

the *.abr was created in CS2, on a PC. they will not work in versions of Photoshop previous to CS. they should work in Macs.
the preview image is also from texturemattic .

absolutely!

ps
my undestanding is that anything downloaded from the 'resources' section of dA can be used by all.

yeah, i understand the frustration, as went from version 5 to CS2, and there was so much stuff out there that i simply couldn't use ..

if i knew how to make these compatible with earlier versions i would, but at the moment i don't ..

Here's a question for ya, would it hurt to convert these to gimp? I thinking about it as soon as I saw them on tExTuReMaTtIc's dev watch but you beat me to the punch lol

Great work by the way!

How abouts this, if you have the original immages in your pack, i can covert them for you and then give you the file back. Otherwize I can just make a set of my own gimp brushes.

The gimp brush exstention is .gbr and it has to be coverted in grayscale and of cource exsported flat. There's nothing much more to it then that realy. If you want to play with it, i'm more then willing to test them out for ya.

I just don't want to take away from your shine if you understand

They look great - you may want to edit the description to point out that they only work with CS upwards. Well done.

i like them because they're not necessarily blood, but can be any fluid.
many of my manips involve water, so they're useful for watery type effects ...

love to ..
if you've unzipped the file correctly, you should have a file called 'Diffused Blood.abr'. Now, if you go to Windows Explorer, click open the C drive (i'm assuming you use a PC rather than a Mac), open the folder called 'Program Files',
then the 'Adobe' subfolder,
then the 'Photoshop' subfolder within that,
then the 'Presets' folder,
and finally the 'Brushes' folder,
then click and drag the 'Diffused Blood.abr' into that folder, and close Windows Explorer.

Now, open Photoshop .. and open an image or a new document or whatever, and then Press B on the keyboard (just B) and the Brushes dialogue box will open and one of the options will be 'Diffused Blood', click on that, and the 9 brushes in there will be all yours to play with.

if you at some of the icons that appear in the Brushes taskbar, one of them controls the brushes options .. size, opacity, direction .. all the fun stuff .. so, go .. enjoy .. have fun .. and if you need any more help, then you know my dA address.
