He was like Frodo, if Frodo was an emotionally unstable egocentric git in green velvet and cried at the drop of a hat.
So yes, Marvel Loki Vs. Gods Almighty Loki, fun fun fun.
About 2 hours work, traditional inking and then coloured in GIMP. Hey the GIMP spark brush came in handy! Now I have to find a use for the green pepper brush, the best brush out.

I think you really did not understand the real point about NM's Loki, but I can not charge much from someone who did not enter the lokean's universe in a fact.
I just feel that I can not recognize my Loki (the one of whom I worship, real as a god and who appeared in my bed on a beautiful sunny morning and change my life for ever) in any of these characterizations.
Anyway, always nice to see more people talking about them, after all them was one of the main points to find me as I am todayΒ Β

Hmm...I don't know. I know about Norse Loki, and I find it hard to relate to that Loki. But Marvel Loki I can relate too. He maybe bit of a cry baby, but hey he's the little brother and younger siblings just cry a lot. And too finding out that he was a race that he was suppose hate kinda, kinda messed him up. And regular Norse Loki is kinda to out there...for my liking. But its just my opinion.

Never read the comics so I can't say, but I find movie Loki to be largely over-rated as a villain. Something about his slick design bugs me so much, especially compared to Tom Hiddleton and how he usually looks like, which I think is much more fitting.
Since You don't like Marvel Loki, shall I suggest DC Loki?
I'll admit I never read Sandman but there is a Wiki that explains the characters/story, and so far the mythological mish mash of different myths of differing cultures really catch my attention. [link]

I don't mind Marvel Loki but they definitely fail to capture the Loki divinity as the god of Mischief but also the Loptr- the wildfire part of him
