A duo of Peregrine CAS Gunships links up with a Raven Strategic Bomber in the skies over Salenetor during the early stages of the invasion of the Free Furrelian Republic. All three are assigned to a bombing run deep in FFR territory.
With a scarcity of planes available on the planeet, only two Peregrines have been selected to accompany the bomber as escorts, rather than a proper fighter escort.
Despite Union or Union-aligned forces having already gained control over many population centres by this point, the towns that remain have not given up on their defences. With the speed of the offensive on the ground slowing down, Furrelian High Command has opted to shift its strategy.
Instead of exclusively targeting strategic sites, a more lenient approach including civilian and less critical targets has been decided on.

Made this scene a while ago, but I completely forgot to post it on DA - probably because of the fact I don't use it often lol. Still though I don't often do scenes, but I was incredibly happy with how this one turned out and, to be frank, I think its one of my best works so far.
