Description
Tardis (yes, Tardis) is a cockatiel. He sits out on his stick, screaming and bitching. All love, though.Related content

Yes, these birds do love to scream, especially in the wee hours of the morning. My little Lloyd is proof, lol. Very very cute though.

This is a wonderful shot of that bird! I especially like how she(?) manages to stand out from the background even though the colors are similar. Great job!

The best part about this picture is the colours, they are so harmonious and makes it pleasing to look at, both the birds and the backgrounds.

Mine squawks when she's hungry (which is good, really), and she snaps at me most of the time when I try to scratch her neck.
She loves my mom though. She has the cutest little squeaks when she hears her come home.
I love birds.

Me too ^^
Yeah, he's just getting his colouring, he used to be all grey. His mojo and mouth says he's a boy, but I guess we'll find out when he's finished this molt. He's only a baby ^^

yeah i used to have a cockatiel and i had the same problem
named Cosmo, to be eccentric , and when she finished molting she looked more female... but we werent sure
but then she laid an egg
so we knew...

Are you sure the "he" isn't a "she"? Usually the stripes, specifically below the feet by the vent area, points towards a female bird, also with the little yellow color.
This is a magnificent shot! I love taking pictures of my cockatiel as well, but I have never achieved this good quality of a picture

Aw, thankyou ^^
Nah, he's only about five months old... and has been mating with my female bird... Unless she prefers other girls, lol. He's really loud too, aaaallll the time. He's slowly getting his yellow colouring around his face, he used to be a lot greyer. I guess we'll see, he's going through his winter molt at the moment ^^

Could still be a youngin'
Which I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir (but bear with me..haha) but they're colors come in gradually, more so during and after their first molt.
I'm betting he's still young, that yellow on his face is too vibrant, I think more will come. I could be wrong, but that's where my money is at.
