Nice composition, nice color. Those clouds are awesome, but they're slightly out of focus. To a large extent, they're what makes your picture. If you can, put something in the foreground off to one side, either at the point of the rule of thirds, or even more to one side. The road angle is good.
Sometimes I work really hard to make sure there are no road signs in my picture, but that depends on what you want to say artistically. If you took this one out, it would spoil the otherwise very nice area on the right (because it would be missing). The rocks have such a nice texture. It's possible that by taking the picture from further away, you'd minimize the road sign problem. It's good that you waited until the traffic had cleared. Another possibility, since I suggested putting a tree or plant in the foreground, you could step off the road a little and put one over the road sign.
