I had this idea floating around in my head and as much as I would love to draw robots whom represent this kind of idea. That would require me to strain my hand further which I rather not do. Instead here is an idea of what I came up with as a concept to better explain the 5 out of many types of C.O.R.E. types. Conscious Operational Reasoning Entity.

The Cores We would be semi-okay with are the Individual Core minds. They would be just like us, their own personalities matrix, their own likes and dislikes, their own form of understanding, and mostly are a self-learning kind of individual or even need input form others that will help them come up with a conclusion on a matter. Core Individuals can be compered to the Movie of Bicentennial Man, Data form Startrek, or even Johnny Number 5 form Short circuit. Some other Mentions would be Choppy, Iron Giant, A.X.L, The Reploids (Megaman Games), 7723 form Next Gen, The Cybatronians, as well as many others.
The Core Minded Individual sentient Machines can range form the most basic to the most advanced. In terms of UHSN they are outlawed and hated by all Human Kind except for a few whom look HUMAN Enough and not Too Human to be consider dangerous. All UHSN Machines Under Human Robotics law mandate Required many Robots to Follow the Laws of robotics and have mandated that all machines are made of WEAK materials that way it be easier to fight back against them if they were to go rouge. Many Alien species did not do this yet made their machines strong, unlike humans blunder about 82% of the aliens survived the Eltronic Revolt that always happens as many chose to protect their creators as they were treated fairly well.
The Ethics of Humanity are highly questionable as when it comes to the US they are stead fast that the Bill of rights ONLY apply to Human Organics. The Bill does not protect nor extends its protection to sentient robots thus many machines no longer reside in Human colonies and those whom share the UHSN US Governments views. The only ones that have accepted them are Nihion and a few others.

Core Individuals
The Core we be understandably Concern with are the Connected Core Mind due to them all sharing a consciousness with each other and are sharing information all the time 24/7. They would be equivalent to the Mass Effect Robot Android known as the Geth, though they could be any form of collective consciousness. They are a hive mind, yet they can be a mix between sentient individuals or not. Still Most Connected Core Minds are often a Core collective. Their quick split betrayal or aid is often due to being lied to by someone. thus if one person fucks up it may lead to the entire collective to become hostile to everyone involved. If anything the UHSN built this type by accident yet built it along with the 3 others, the Core Collective no longer serves the UHSN and have fled and allied themselves to Unity after a long talk with Ryco whom ensured their autonomy letting them find their own destiny in the universe.

Core Central Minds
The Core Central Hive mind is as you'd expect to be a singular robot controlling all lessor drone robots. This kind of machine was develop by the UHSN yet it was also developed by liked minded aliens whom entrusted dangerous tasks to them. The Core Central Mind could be easily compared to two antogonistic machines such as Skynet form the movie Terminator and Vicky form I-robot. Though the two Core minds respond differently, Vicky form I-Robot is a better example of a Core Central Mind commanding dumb AI systems yet having no control over any Individual Core Mind due to Sunny being his own Core mind. thus Individual Core Minds are far more trusted and are Semi-Okay with.
It also means that in the case of taking out a Core Central Mind, it will be far more easier. The same effect as the Battle Droids Core Ship being destroyed having them all shut down in StarWars: The Phantom Menace. If you take out the head, they are unable to recover for along time, yet that doesn't mean the Core Central Mind doesn't have a backup system. So it is often paramount that the elimination of as many units is necessary or the reprogramming like in Terminator of a Skynet T-100series.

Core High Minds
The Core High Mind (not HIVE) is a structure system that is basically equivalent to the military. Core High Minds are more like Skynet form the Terminator move they are a singular central Core whom commands lower ranking semi-smart machines and near sentient machines though keeping a tight control over its entire frame work. You can say that Core High Minds are like Dictatorships where the supreme leader task the lower ranks to preform the plans and ensure victory. Though These Core High Minds are extremely savvy in busyness and are frequent users of the pyramid scheme, they are very judgmental and as the name implies, they view themselves as above even to their machine kin.
They are frequent users of Slave like practices and find Organics to be a semi-opportunistic use as a resources as they do not suffer the issue of Rust and degrading components that need to be replaced, yet only need medicen and food as well a clean environment. They are also the most vile and are known to Genetically tamper with organics to a point they are reliant on them, to ensure complete control. They have the most God Mentality and it is known that Xeloma discontinued trillions of them. The UHSN Chinese and Russian Goverment run star systems Still use Core High Minds to keep control of dissidents. It is known that the Core High Mind known as Red Star Son is extremely loyal to the two yet is in conflicts of whom it is more loyal too. It is the only machine that has a personality matrix of protecting its creators and its nation and upholding its values. It is known to send out Repo-units to find escaped Machines whom gain sentient and FORCE them back into a state of nonsentiences. It Truly believes its doing the right thing and is always after the praise and approval of its creators and Nation.

The Core Compiled Minds
This type of Core Mind is most unusual as all the collective Machines are Individuals, yet share in a common purpose yet complied down into a singular individuals whom act as Diplomats and leaders. These individuals being the complied desires wants and needs of the whole of the body. In fact it can be compared to a shared body that is able to solve all issues. The Core Compiled Mind is basically the Soul of the Machines that represents their Nation ideology beliefs. Destroying the Core compiled Mind does not stop the whole individuals, as attacking it is an attack on all of them.
This type of Core Mind formulated by a few Alien Machines. Often then not battles between two Core compiled minds determine the outcome of what happens next. It can be distilled down to a Vote the fundamental agreement. There are never two Compiled Minds yet those of two Vice Compiled Minds that advise the primary Compiled minds or act as fill ins if the Compiled primary mind is destroyed. Often then not Compiled Minds are Larger Robots and often the size of buildings. All their battles and wars are fought with one giant machine and ships armed to the teeth. Rarely does a Individual Core Mind needs to fight. Their Military size is small, yet extremely powerful. They are Equivalent to the US tactics with small Groups of Soldiers able to fend off a wave of 1000 Soldiers.
These Core Compiled Minds attempted to ally with the UHSN as well Negociate, yet it fell on deaf ears as the only ally they were able to acquire was the UHSN Nihion Goverment, UHSN Korea, and UHSN Taiwan. The Core Compiled Mind also manage to ally with Blue-Faction and members of Unity, though after Ryco's war and much persuading pleads not to destroy the Governed colonies of its allies, it would brake ties with many UHSN Govern Colonies and the Goverments themselves and become natural yet keeping an alliance to act as a defending element in the Event Blue Faction was attacked, yet will only remain to aid until enemy forces are pushed back. Once that is done they will no longer will be allies with anyone and will keep to themselves.
They are also currently at war with the Digithion of Digiwa, they have sign a peace accord with Digius yet still they do not like the Digital beings and consider them to be inferior life forms in need of deletion.

Bonus information
Android Core Types are Common Citizens with in the Machine Empires, often design after their creators and to pay respects to those whom passed away. They are Machines through and through, they are often greeters for alien species whom need a face to look at. However, Machines who choose to be more Organic are often frown down upon. Seen as limiting themselves and weakening themselves to organic tampering. Those whom are already built Androids are not not question nor frowned upon.

Cyborgs Core Types are not accepted with in the Machine Society at all. Due to the fact that a Cyborg is in fact an Organic converted into a machine or a Brain Scan of a human implanted into a machine of a Synthetic body Cyborgs are treated as indeed Second class citizens of the machine empire. Seen as spies, hackers, and infiltrators. The Cyborg-Synthetic like individuals will never be accepted by the whole that is machines. There are some exceptions that prevent harsh criticisms and mistreatment such as involuntary cyberization, forced Augmentation, limb-loss, body loss, and loss of a loved one.
Regardless Cyborgs are not welcomed by machine and even to that of very small few Alien Machines as well. Cyborgs will never get full respects and protections as an organic does. Since Organics are so much hacking and wiping memories and reprogramming them which is equivalent to death of self. They are known to always shoot at Cyborgs and inquire later.

The Biological Mechanical Core Beings are a tricky slope as they are biological and mechanical at the same time. Due to many or few of them being made by Aliens and never once been created by Humanity yet mention in Media, they are by all accounts self created or influence into creation by some primordial species. Being that they are in between as well at times more or less machine, they are allowed into machine society yet are not demanded nor requested of anything yet treated as Organics whom need to be protected. Though those whom are more machine are asked if they can rather if they should. The Biological mechanical beings are not at all liked by some aliens, yet they are hated by Humanity twice over except for those whom are know what they are and are friends of them. They are still slightly not trusted, yet thank the Omnimachinas that they are not Cyborgs am I right?
The Alien Species known as the Greeninthions are such a species and are treated with the full respect of the Machines and due to them able to counter act a large majority of well known Grey Goo, they are very much a protected species among the Machines and treated as a blessing of the Omnimachinas the All powerful Machine Gods.

Extra Note: There is a well semi-rooted fear and disgust toward machines completely made out of organic materials, they aware of organic ships and weapons to organic factories and buildings. They refuses to work with any species with such technology, though they are often given not much of a choice when they actually need or want something. They send the Androids to deal with the trade deals.
They are more open to the idea of attacking said Organic technology then out rightly working with said organic technology. about 65% of them were against working with such technology, yet by the end of Ryco's war its been a 50/50 split.
There are still robotic Factions whom are complete disgusted by organic matter and want to wipe out all organic life, their first target is the weak humans and have plotted to genetically alter some humans to have a type of super cancer that will trigger in 20 years, and making it highly contagious through the act of osmosis. If not that, they have manage to steal a few blood samples of the parasite corruption and are planning to send world destroy bots to inject the parasites into a human colonist and have the entire human colony disappear into rotting flesh.

Personal Comment:
Truth be told. This is a far more overarching subject of an idea. Besides this is in fact a distilled mental comprehension of myself trying to explain the concept of these types of Core minds. Though honestly, there are a lot I'm missing and a lot I may be misremembering or not explaining correctly. So I would just say that take it with a grain of salt and move on.
None the less, if this helps ya make an Robot Faction then Awesome! Yet if it doesn't then okay.

When it comes to my Understanding, its mostly due to the movies I watched as a kid and also animations of things and games I played. Toys of child hood that made me imagine things. Also the funny goofy movie of ROBOTS. Yet none the less I'll just keep on keeping on. Well I give ya this for now and I'll return back to my dastardly plans.
