Once were humans, now are demonic entities. Flaming skulls, demonic hellfire powers, chains for combat, and fueled by vengeance. Which one will prevail?I do not own either characters.

People argue that Scorpion stomps for the following reasons:
1. Scorpion has no soul, therefor he's immune to the penance stare
2. Scorpion can just drag Ghost Rider to the Nether Realm (WHICH IS SOOOO NOT HELL OR ANYTHING) where Scorpions powers will increase for infinity until he can surpass all of Ghost Rider's powers and eventually have enough power to burn Ghost Rider out of existence.
... though they ignore that Scorpion's physical body can still be destroyed or rendered immobile...
and that Ghost Rider can easily move through dimensions and either pull Scorpion out of the Nether Realm before Scorpion's power can become infinite (Which would take waaaaaaay too long), Pull Scorpion into a realm where Ghost Rider himself is god-like and has a whole army of ghost riders to help him out, and that the spirit inside of Ghost Rider is powerful enough to take on the likes of Galactus...

Even excluding the retcon, I highly doubt that prevents Scorpions body from being completely destroyed/obliterated: Soul or no Soul. Even if he comes back later, it might be awhile.
And if Scorpions strength increases infinitely from staying in the Nether World, Ghost Rider has the power to adjust his physical strength in order to better match/adapt to his opponent, meaning that the stronger Scorpion becomes, so will Ghost Rider
Also, Scorpion has no way of putting down Ghost Rider for good: Ghost Rider has a healing factor, has gotta his head blown off only to regrow it, has tanked hits from Thor and Hulk, is immune to fire and hell fire, Has tanked attacks from Dr. Strange, has resisted reality warping, and can come back from being blown to dust.
And if Scorpion does some how bring down Ghost Rider, all it means is that Zarathos can come out (Who is said to be multiversal) who can manipulate reality at will and has mind hax, so he can either transmute Scorpions body into stone or take over Scorpions mind.
