OK, my idea with this picture was to show the difference between hard (ie. the rocks) and soft (ie. the vegetation) and how they can both survive the elements, the image was taken using a slow shutter speed, to try to show some movement in the grass...

as for post production, there has been the conversion to black and white, some selective curves and levels applied, a few areas were burned too... then i added noise to give it that that old, grainy look...

oh and the version you're seeing now is the DA resized version because the original weighed in at a hefty 6318 pixels across! not to mention the 23MB filesize...

however the print version is the full-size/full-resolution one so... if you do buy a print... it will look AWESOME even massive!
