For the first few days, whenever you would see each other in this coffee shop, you would only give each other small nods which then became simple hellos. Then, you couldn't remember when and how but now you two would be sitting in your usual spot. Sometimes you would talk about work but most of the time, you would sit in comfortable silence.

This was one of those days. There were few people on the shop, almost all of them engaged in either their books or their gadgets. The sipping of the coffee and the light chimes of bells were the only sound to be heard. Both of you decided to visit the shop after your boss, Erwin, dismissed you all, saying that the sales skyrocketed and that everyone deserves a small break. Everyone was stressed out the past week. Even Levi was getting pissed off more than usual. You remembered Krista crying the other day because of something Levi said.

The silence was cut off by the sound of phone ringing. Immediately recognizing the tone, you scrambled through the things in your bag.

"Please not be Erwin. Please not be Erwin." you pleaded in your mind. You didn't want to be called back in the office, not now that you're having alone time with Levi.

A sigh of relief left your lips upong seeing the caller ID. Hange Zoe. Why was she calling you?

When you pressed the answer button, you weren't able to say a 'hello' as Hange bombarded you with questions and silly commands.

"Where are you? Don't say my name. Just listen carefully!"

Levi must have noticed the surprise in your face because he quirked his eyebrow up, his eyes narrowing a little.

"Don't be too obvious. Are you with Levi, right now?" Hange asked

"Y..yes, I am. How did you know?" You felt slightly flustered being caught with Levi. You knew that Hange knew about your little crush on the guy. She seemed to enjoy teasing you relentlessly about it.

"Oh just a guess~"

You could almost hear her snicker. You sneaked a glance toward Levi. He was still observing you, his brows now furrowed, the coffee he was drinking earlier left unnoticed.

You sent him a reassuring smile, and mouthed "this is nothing". Then, proceeded on drinking your coffee.

"So you two are like in a date right now, [Name]." you heard Hange stated. You almost choked when you heard the word 'date', coughing a little. Levi was immediately on your side, gently patting your back, trying to ease your discomfort. When in fact, he only made it worse. The moment his fingers made contact with your back, the warmth on your cheeks increased.

"No, it's not a date," you hissed.

You turned sideways away from Levi to hide the blush on your face and clutched your phone tighter to your ear. Your other hand tucking some of your imaginary stray hair behind your ear.

Did you just act cutesy while talking to someone on the phone? That took Levi’s last straw of patience. He reached towards you and grabbed your phone away.

"Whoever you are. Back off. She's mine." His voice sounded so deadly that your heart almost jumped out upon hearing it.

Your eyes widened. His? Did he call you his? Did he really mean that?

You recovered from your moment of shock when you heard Hange's all familiar laugh which was weird because your phone was still on Levi’s hand.

"I got you, shorty." Hange said standing a few feet away from you, her phone still pressed into her ear.

"Where the hell did you come from?"

"Oh, I was here the whole time. If you two lovey-dovey weren't too busy looking at each other then you may have noticed me, sitting on that table." She pointed at the other side of the cafe, a wide grin on her face, her glasses glinting.

"Tch." Levi suddenly grabbed your hand, pulling you along with him.

"Where are we going?" You asked still dazed at what transpired in front of you.

"Somewhere shitty glasses can't follow us," he answered, dragging you out of the coffee shop.

When you shot him a confused look, Levi stopped, a smirk on his face. "My place, of course."

"Okay guys, pay up!" Connie said.

Jean and Sasha groaned, handing Connie a few bills.

"Isn't it wrong that we're betting on Levi and [Name]'s personal life?" Armin asked.

"It's alright, Armin! Don't worry too much about it," Eren answered,"Here's your winnings."
