Carla’s offense was short lived, however.

Devon wasted little time squirming, twisting and turning in an effort to escape Carla’s strong legs. Carla though wasn’t about to let go easily. She did her best to keep the pressure on and keep Devon on the mat and locked up. At one point she was on her back and Devon had managed to spin into Carla facing her. Devon then tried to stand up but her head was still lodged in Carla’s thighs. It was quite a sight, Devon almost on all fours defending, Carla holding on to her head from her back.

Devon looked like the proverbial ostrich with its head in the stand.

Until she used her dancer training and did a handstand and then kept right on rolling over, bridging as she went.

Now Carla was on her back, folded in half and Devon had her pinned down!
“One….” Devon said.

“NOOO!!!!!” Steph boomed from the outside

“Tw…..” but that was as far as Devon got before Carla rolled her off. She was mad at herself for getting into a precarious position and more mad she had let Dev off the hook so easily from the scissor hold.
