Some of you asked how I draw fur. Do not treat it too strictly, I often don't follow this sequence.Basic brushes, "lock alpha" is avilable in PS and Gimp.

THIS WAS YOU!?!? Screaming because this helped me out a lot when I tried drawing my own fur. I didn't know you responded to comments because I honestly thought you were so good at drawing talking to someone like me would be a waste of time but that subsided when I realize you do actually reply to comments. (Half of Deviantart replies to their commenters but I guess I just assumed because I came from a really rude community before I came here, so that's probably why). Anyways, I try to follow this every day I keep trying to draw my own fur and a reference really does help even if I'm still struggling. So thank you for making this tutorial.
