You have found some things very true. In the search for wisdom many feel the need to write and speak in long words, or words not often used. Once enlightment is near, though, very simple phrases are enough to convey great feeling.
Your peaceful flowing writing reflects the wisdom you have found.
If you enjoy these wise men, I suggest reading Thich Nhat Hanh. His simple use of language is simply beautiful.
