A highly-skilled warrior with immense strength and even more heart, Rabscuttle was the designated Captain of the Guard for his warren of Nidorans; a position he saw as a cornerstone of his being and with him at the helm of their defenses, the warren was never better protected from outside threats though there was one none of them could plan for; Men.
When hunters came to flush them out on the directions of a building company intending on using the land they lived on for development, he stayed behind to ensure that every single Nidoran made it to safety, barricading himself between them and the hunting dogs, several which were severely injured in the altercation. Realizing that this rabbit was thrashing out half of their crew, the men managed to snare him, beat him into submission and then attempted to sell him to an underground broker for pitfighting Pokemon to recoup their losses and it was providence which saved him that at that exact moment, Rangers who had been prepping for a raid on illegal battling rings broke up the sales pitch.
He was then shuttled from one rehabiliation center to another, all of which had to pass him over given how livid he was with humans in general that he indiscrminately injured staff attempting to help him and eventually, he ended up a lost cause in the hands of Bishop Rood, who ran the Team Plasma halfway house and cared for 'problem' pokemon as part of his personal penance for his deeds from years back.
Rood proved to be the unwaveringly patient, calming influence he needed and the large grounds a perfect place for him to remember how to be a Nidoran again after his ordeal and slowly he began to trust people once more; The new Plasma coda to protect was something he got behind unquestioningly and he found himself intrigued by the stories told about one Knight who defied the tyranny of the Mad King and so when he was offered a chance to meet this Knight, to serve under them and protect them, he leapt at it.
This Rhames fellow definitely sounded like someone worth following into the battlefield.

- Mostly a follower but with his own solid morality he won't compromise---He's just more comfortable with people telling him what he needs to do.
- Distinctively larger than other Nidorans, hits like a spiky brick.
- His spines and bristles can be raised or flattened depending on his level of agitation; The more agitated he is, the more they stand up and when he's at peace, his 'coat' is almost smooth.

- Very much a knight in his prime demeanor-wise, expect lofty ideals and chivalry.
- BFFS with Mallory , who was rehabilitated with him and read to him to keep him company while he was being treated.
