Description

A leader then and a leader now, though with considerably more blood on his hands, Graeme Locke (ringname Grimlock) led a harsh life on the streets until he broke into the independent wrestling circuit as a powerhouse of a star.
For a time being he thought he had everything he wanted—-adoration of the fans, friends backstage, a family and fame, but all that came crashing down when he suffered a career-ending injury during a spot gone horribly wrong in one of his matches.

With only a half-formed exit plan and a family to fend for and a desperation to get back into a business he loved, he agreed to undergo what he was told was a routine lab study in return for treatment, and ends up with way more than he bargained when he gets what he asked for, but is also turned into a genetic monstrosity by Senator Radbourne (RatBat).
Gangpressed into indentured servitude with other test subjects by Proteus who wanted a personal strike force after growing nervous of the rise of Morgan Trayton (Megatron) and Omar Parvez's (Orion Pax’s) rebellion.
He’s told he will be released from service and the transformation reversed once he’s worked off his medical ‘debt’, but incandescent rage consumes him when he catches wind that this is a lie and he hatches a plan with his crew mates to kill everyone in the facility they were being held in and escape.

On the lam together, they cross paths with his former target, now Optimus Prime, who offers him refuge for them and he agrees if only because the gentler members of his team like Swoop and Sludge deserve some semblance of normalcy.
His crew comes first, hell or high water, and one day he hopes to have whatever was done to him reversed and search for what’s left of his family.
