It's been almost a year, but I created this character with a full reference for the very first time. Eve, that's my oldest character, doesn't even have one.

But I introduce to you Grief. Their body produces a pigmented oil that you can usually see flowing through their silk like hair and also the paw pads, but those have to be stimulated for the ink to come out (inspired in acrylic markers, were you have to push the tip until the paint starts flowing).
