Dissidia Aces - Cycle 2 - Subtournament Round 2 - Plume vs SephirothAs I loose the 2nd round of the main tournament, I was moved to the sub-tournament.
Here is my submission for the "2nd Round" of the #DissidiaAces Cycle 2 Sub-Tournament.
I'm "Plume", the female Clavat "Long Hair" from "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles", and I'm against 's Sephiroth from " Final Fantasy VII". This time we had to choose a boss (3rd character) between 3 different one, and a place between 5 different one. I choosed:
Tidus (FFX) as the boss and Alexandria (FFIX) for the place.
Story: Plume was fighting a very difficult person in this round. Sephiroth is too strong for her. When she though she was lost, a handsom and nice guy come to help her.
I realy hate Sephiroth, so I was not realy happy to draw him. But that's it. So to compensate I was really happy that I could choose my favourite boss (why wasn't Zidane in the cycle 2 as he was in cycle 1?
)I worked a lot on this piece, and I was quite proud of it, but as too many time, the scanner ruin it.

Salut Floriane! j'ai regardé le pas-à-pas! c'est impressionnant en tout cas, tu as de la patience! C'est dur de dessiner des personnages que l'on aime pas! et pourtant Sephiroth est très réussi, il est vraiment "lui"! Tidus a l'air sur de lui et en forme! Ca demande beaucoup de courage de faire des scènes comme ça! Et tu le fais! c'est génial!
Pauvre petite Plume... J'aime bien la petite histoire qui va avec ce dessin.
Et! Bravo pour les couleurs, même si ca doit ressortir mieux sur l'original ne t'en fais pas ca ressort quand même bien ici. (j'aime beaucoup les tuiles en passant)

Merci pour le long message, je suis heureuse que le pas-à-pas t'aie plus. C'est vrai que je me suis donné beaucoup de mal pour ce dessin, comme pour tous les dessins de ce concours d'ailleurs, dommage que j'ai perdu si vite encore une fois

Aquarelle is the same as watercolor I think. They are dry painting cubes. And you just take water with you brush to dilute them

I love how much attention you paid to the environment as well as the characters, it makes the piece look 'realistic' as a whole, and I wish more artists did this.

I could definitely see this scene happening, Tidus wouldn't let Sephiroth hurt plume, (although Tidus would only last like 20 seconds vs Sephiroth >.>). Good work

For sure Sephiroth is too strong for Tidus also, but we could dream, no? Perhaps Sephiroth will fall (his foot could be catched in something or I don't know) and Tidus could have advantage of the situation, hit him and win

I just don't like Sephy's outfit. I like colors (as you can see in all my drawings) and Sephy is only in Black and white :

Haha I get what you mean about black and white but that's what makes him easy to draw for me lol. But i find him badass as a villain as well. Anyways good luck to the both of us!
