its because its the easiest and laziest. the fast and redundant movements compensate for actual technique and realistic movements. it relies heavily on fast movements to distract from everything out it lacks. its hardly even a style, it just strips every single fundamental of animation and realism and replaces it with fast movements. i like the animators of gavx but its just lazy, simple as that.
