I've been surfing all summer, and I recently picked up a 7'6" board, but it's a used one and it's got a skull and crossbones on the nose, and I'm so against using or buying things with that on it that it's not even funny. I've put up with it the last few weeks just cause I haven't had the time to make up a design, let alone execute it.

Went through a few different thoughts, but I've decided on this for a more functional design. The first one had too many colours, the second one had too much white, and this one I just love. I went with the cross cause I wanted the furthest thing from the skull and bones, and the "thrice" and the "three" texts are for the symbolism of that number in Christianity.

Now it's just a matter of getting the right paints and getting it done right. Wish me luck.

Mmm, by the way, the background looks like wood-grain, but it's actually water from a lake I color-adjusted. I didn't wanna stare at a sea of blue while I worked on it.
