It was a rare find to find this lens, and i heard some negative reviews but now that i have tested it, i can say i LOVE IT. I did not want to lose the chance. I heard stories where people wait months, maybe a year just to get a copy of this lens. It was discontinued i'm guessing since 2008. The reason it's so wanted is because its AF super-wide. It's sharp and quiet. And it's much much cheaper than the canon 14mm 2.8 lens ( about a third of the price). I got mine for $518, which is around the average of how much one pays for it. I wanted a canon but i don't see using it that often to justify the price. I hear flare is bad and the edges aren't sharp. But i think the unsharp edges gives it a film like feel to it. Flare... not sure. And i may buy a wonderpana filter holder to protect the lens and put on a polarizer.

There really aren't many pictures taken with this lens on the internet. More on flickr though.

First test with the lens. It was automatic ISO... not sure why it was on 12800 haha, makes me feel so unpro like. Well the test was a success and the lens works like it should ! (I bought it used)
