Summary
When Kronos, the son of Kyoka Katastrophe and Mard Geer, escapes his imprisonment and captures almost all of the Overdrive Rangers, a mysterious being name AkaRed recruits Alphonse Elric and five veteran Power Rangers to rescue Alphonses's teammates and defeat Kronos and the other returned villains.

Overdrive Power Rangers: Edward and Alhponse Elric, Winry Rockwell, Ling Yao, and Mei Chang are the members of the Overdrive Team of Amestris Industries, a company is part Exploration/part Private Military Company. The Overdrive Team is specialized in locating items called Precious, which range from lost scrolls to near extinct animals to even the Philosopher's Stone, the ultimate goal of the Overdrive Team. This leads them to conflict with various enemies, including the Homonculous. There allies include Colonel Roy Mustang, Lieutenant-Colonel Rita Hawkeye, Lieutenant-Colonel Maes Hughes. An unoffical member of their team is a man going by the title of Scar, who has a grudge against Amestris Industry for their part in the massacre of his nation of Ishbael. At the time of the story, all of their members except for Alphonse are captured by Kronos.

Alphonse Elric (Black Overdrive Ranger): Alphonse Elric is the younger of the two Elric brothers. An attempt to bring back their deceased mother caused Ed
ward to lose an arm and a leg and Alphonse to lose his body, leaving his soul trapped inside a metal armor. The two boys, along with their childfriend Winry, joined Amestris Industries in hope of locating the Philosopher's Stone in hopes of restoring their bodies. Alphonse is a kind-hearted boy that cares deeply for his friends and family. He is trained in Alchemy, the art of transforming matter from one substance to another of equal mass. He is the only member of the Overdrive team that was not captured by Kronos.

Akared (Shanks): Akared, formerly Shanks, was once the apprentice of the Space Pirate and first Red Ranger Gol D. Rogers. Shanks and his crew, the Red-Beard Pirates, took on the role of the Go-Rangers after their predecessors, the Roger Pirates, either retired or died. But an incident that lead to the death of his crew caused Shanks to be permanently fused to the Red Energy of the Morphing Grid, transforming him into the immortal ranger Akared. He has the power to use the power of any Red Ranger from any point of Time and Space. Years ago, he sealed away Kronos and kept him from killing the rangers of Angel Grove. But with Kronos free, he now gathers several veteran rangers in order to stop him.

Rock Lee (Shuriken Ranger): Rock Lee is a member of the Ninja Storm team. Years ago, he was a student of Might Guy, the then current Shuriken Ranger. But when his master is killed by Orochimaru, Lee rose up to become the new wielder of the Green Shuriken Power, and fight alongside both the Ninja Storm and Thunder Storm rangers against Orochimaru. These days he now travels the world, focusing on becoming stronger each day in memory of Might Guy.

Rogue Cheney (Blue Dino Thunder Ranger): Rogue Cheney was a normal high school hacker until he and his classmates Sting Eucliff and Yukino Agira were sent to detention under the watch of Dr. Natsu Dragneel. On that day, those three found three powerful objects called Dinogems, filled with the spirit of the dinosaurs. Rogue recieved the blue energem, filled with the spirit of the Triceratops and allowing him to become the Blue Dino Ranger. He and his team used the dinogems in their fight against the mad scientist Jiemma, eventually sacrificing both their DinoZords and thee DinoGems in the final fight.

Euphie Stuart (Pink SPD Ranger): Euphemia "Euphie" Stuart was originally a cadet in the Earth Division of Space Patrol Delta, a galactice police organization that exists in the year 2025. But when SPD's A-Squad went missing, Earth Commander Kyoshiro Tohdoh authorize Euphie and her team to wear the uniform of the Power Rangers when the Galactic Destroyer Shin Hyuuga Shiang came to annihilate Earth. Euphie main power is absorption, allowing her body to take on the property of what ever she is touching. She is a kind-hearted individual that looks for the best of individuals, even some of her enemies.

Uryu Ishida (Yellow Mystic Ranger): Uryu Ishida was one of five individuals chosen by the sorcereress Masaki to fight against the rising darkness known only as Aizen . Uryu was granted control of the Element of Lightning, and proves his mastery as the Yellow Mystic Ranger. Uryu is a calm and level-headed individual, often analyzing his opponents before fighting them. He also works part time as the assistant manager of Urahara's Entertainments.

Erza Scarlet (Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger): Erza Scarlet was one of the original "Teens with Attitude" recruited by Mavis Vermillion to fight against Kyoka Katastrophe. As the Red Ranger, Erza was a natural leader, from helping her teammates overcome any doubt or fears to freeing Green Dragon Ranger Natsu from Kyoka's control. Eventually, she and two other teammates retired from their days as rangers when they were selected to join the UN Junior Peace Corp. Nevertheless, she still finds herself as a Ranger again on many occasions, from becoming the Gold Ranger of the Zeo Team to help leading a team of Red Rangers against an army on the Moon.

Kronos Katastrophe: Kronos is the son of two of the ranger's greatest enemies, born a few months after Kyoka and Mard got married. Kronos was growth-accelerated by Bloodman, Kyoka's father, to defeat the Aquarlian Rangers and destroy the Earth Rangers while they were stuck as children. However, he is stopped by Akared, and is sealed away in a tomb on a distant moon. But in a twist of fate, the tomb protected Kronos from the same energy wave that defeated his parents and destroyed the Villian Alliance. When he is freed years later, he gathers several past villains and kidnaps the Overdrive Rangers so he can lure out Akared and kill him.

Returning Villains:
Sayla: Kyoka's loyal aid during the Mighty Morphin era, who escaped Mavis's energy wave and waited for the return of Kronos. Her specialty is hypnosis.
Kabuto: Loyal aid to Orochimaru before the Snake Ninja's death. A cunning and ruthless individual. He was killed in battle by both the Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder rangers.
Zancrow: Once a close friend and co-worker to Natsu and Finger named Testu Ferguson. He was captured and rebuilt by Jiemma into the cyborg Zancrow. Has a deep hatred for Natsu, and will target all who are or were close to him. He was defeated by Natsu at the sacrificed of all the Dino Zords.
Carnine: An alien that once worked for Shin, helping create monsters for his army. Her true form is similar to a lovely human woman, but since she thinks that form is hideous, she takes the appearance of a young girl. She was arrested by Tohdoh.
Kaname Tosen: Once one of the Mystic Warriors, he betrayed the order and allied with the Demon King Aizen, believing the world may find peace under his rule. He lead the forces of darkness until his defeat at the hand of Renji Abarai.
Envy: A Shape-Shifting Homunculus, Envy was assigned by his patron Dante to aid Kronos in the destruction of all Power Rangers.
