This is my OC Power Rangers team, "Power Rangers Aero Choppers".This team has a helicopter and military motif.
From left to right…
Black Aero Ranger - Controls the black Aero Zord-2
Yellow Aero Ranger - Controls the yellow Aero Zord-4
Red Aero Ranger - Controls the red Aero Zord-1
Pink Aero Ranger - Controls the pink Aero Zord-5
Blue Aero Ranger - Controls the blue Aero Zord-3
Jet Ranger - Controls the green Aero Jetzord
I somewhat based this team on "Airwolf", as well as the story, with the Rangers hiding their Zords from the government. But they aren't hiding the Zords for same reason that Stringfellow Hawke keeps hiding Airwolf. Oh on! These Rangers hide the Zords, because they have found out that the company that developed the Zords, Helitech Inc., had no intention of protecting the world from the monsters that keep on attacking humanity, but to put them into mass production and sell them to any military organisation that would be interested in paying the right price, no matter what intentions the buyer would have for the Zords. So the Rangers keep using the Zords to battle the monsters, at the same time as they're trying to find a way to get the government, who trust Helitech", to look into Helitech's organisation and see what they really stand for.
Later, the Rangers are joined by a new member of the team… The Jet Ranger. And his story is a like those stories about the bounty hunter who hunts the hero, thinking they are the villains. You see, he was given Ranger powers by Helitech Inc., as well as the new experimental Jetzord, which can transform into its own Megazord mode, to hunt down the Rangers, and bring back the Zords to Helitech. But after many fights with the Rangers, and even occasionally fighting along side them, he eventually discover that all the things the Rangers told him about Helitech was true. So he resigns from his job at Helitech, and takes his Ranger equipment and the Jetzord with him, to join the Rangers in their quest to protect world from all the evil monsters, and to expose Helitech for what they really are.
I did a very lazy thing with these suits. I simply took the Fiveman suits, and replaced the helmets with the Operation Overdrive/Boukenger helmets. It's lazy, I know… But what can you do, when everything you try to draw by hand, or out of your own imagination, comes out as something drawn by a 3-year old? In fact, a 3-year old actually draws better than I do. "chuckles"
I was a bit more original with the Jet Ranger's suit. I simply took the Fireman suit again, but change the colour to a darker kind of green, as apposed to the lighter green that we have been accustom to seeing in Power Rangers. I don't remember where I got the helmet from, but it has its roots in the Operation Overdrive/Boukenger style.
(I don't own Power Rangers. Hasbro does. I'm just a fan.)
