Description
This was supposed to be the cover of my comic following the old 'In the shadows' series comic I had done. This would have been a future chapter seeing the return of a vengeful and bloody undead forest creature. I especially like the cover and think it had potential, however after a while I came to realize the whole idea of this forest creature wasn't very well developed, leading me to a fairly violent and just plain weird chapter 4 (I don't have the pages anymore though). While the art was okay, I did not like the direction I was going with that and ended up indefinitely on hiatus. :/Related content

A mixture of muck and hair around the face would only further cause tension.

I'd need a bit of practice to be able to draw muck/blood or anything gooey. Last time I tried that it was a joke lol. I probably could have done better with the background also.

What you did was well within reason, anything more would have been added in a coloring stage!
