Description
The starship on my Dark Heresy game, Imperius Lex, have plenty of secrets and peculiarities. Here is the first parchment I made to show how goes the hierarchy of "castes" inside the ship.Basically there are 6 kinds of people inside the vessel, and they are usually differentiated by their uniform colors and jobs.

As the most of the crew is from Vostroya (40k Russia-like planet), they are quite comfortable in cold weather, and the ship's interior is usually around 10ºC or less, so everyone wear heavy uniforms and coats most of the time.

Food is mostly produced into artificial farms inside the ship, growing many kinds of vegetables and grain. Lots of grox are kept lobotomized and force feed in the place, and their leftovers are used as fertilizer for the plants. This "fresh" food goes to most of the Castes, that are, together, a very small percentage of the ship's population. A cheaper "food" is served in shape of "recycled food", most made of leftovers of the fresh food and organic material collected by the sewage system, re-shaped, sterilized, flavored and colored to look like something edible. This "shit sandwiches" are the main source of nutrients for most of the lower castes.
