Influence Meme by-----------------------------x----------------------------------
Oh yes, I can't see a meme without making my own
That's the main influence to my art. Very great pieces of art in my opinion
01- Luis Royo: I am very very fan of his style of airbrushing and his great domain of human lines. His art is simply fantastic. I wish I could draw 1/3 of what he draws
02- Olivier LeDroit: I saw his work first time on a Heavy Metal Magazine, in Requiem Chevalier Vampire story. It was really a great piece of art, with incredible shadows and tones and very sexy girls. Unhappily the magazine was too expensive, and I never bought it...
03- Gustave DorΓ©: That's a classic! I own a Dante's Divine Comedy, all illustrated by DorΓ©, and he was a monster of artist. And even worse, he did his art on gravure, that's 200 times more difficult to make!
04- Conan: In 1990 I watched the 1982's "Conan the Barbarian" hidden from my mother (I was a kid
05- Neverending Story: Everyone that was a kid on 1980's watched this movie. It was the most marvellous design of the time. The story, the characters, the cheap emotional plots, no CG... all was so oniric...
06- Neon Genesis Evangelion: aka. The Best Anime ever made. Its perfect in all sides, nice storyline, wonderfull made characters, looooottttssss of hidden plots, thriller, psicological deep... Its great!
07- Changeman: For me, one of the best Super-sentai series I ever saw. It got a real narrative, not only the "monster of the week", and the villains were greatly made
08- Andre Vazzios: In my opinion, the best of the best brazillians artists. He made some comics in late 1990's, and his trace is amazing. Its funny that, when I see his illustrations for long time, I keep seeing people as they were drawn by him for some several minutes after that
09- El Hazard: An anime with a lightweight story (not so dark and deep as Evangelion) but with funny and well made characters. Also have a great art design.
10- Jaspion: Another great Super-sentai series. I like a lot the light, camera and designs of Jaspion's series. The very bright scenario and the simple geometric lines made it even greater than Star Wars
11- Pirates of the Dark Waters: Probably the best cartoon from Hanna-Barbera studius, mainly the first season. The "Dungeons & Dragons" taste was great, and the story was wonderfull. And the girl Tula was hot as hell. Sad that the second season was a sh*t, and there was no third one after that...
12- Brom: This guy is great at drawing. He can mix brown, white and black and make wonderfull illustrations! I really like his lines.
13- Warhammer 40k: I never played the tabletop game for a very simple reason. There is no Warhammer miniatures selling in my country
But the roleplaying game was amazing, and the computer games are really awsome. The whole universe of Warhammer brings a Space Opera so cruel and so evil that there is no really "bright side" on them...

Oh yes! I used to love this cartoon when I was a kid. And it have a great aesthetic, feels almost like Dungeons & Dragons RPG (more than the Dungeon and Dragons cartoon... XD)Β
