Description
Previous >>>> [link]With her home destroyed and no friends or relatives to run to, Polina flees to her favorite pawn shop the next town over and hopes that its mysterious owner, Aidon, can help her go into hiding.
This took me a lot longer than it should have but I'm really happy with how the wallpaper turned out.
Polina is my character.
Aidon belongs to and was used with permission.
Drawn by hand, colored in MS Paint because I'm a cheap bitch and haven't gotten photoshop yet.

That looks really awesome! I love the wall paper and it being colored in paint? That just adds more to the awesomeness!

Thank you!
I'm currently on the prowl looking for some Ms paint tricks to add to my arsenal around the interwebs so hopefully I can improve if only a little bit in my coloring until i get photoshop someday.

omg, I totally forgot about this! It was like getting a surprise when I saw it this morning!
I miss seeing these little comics about your ocs, it's like getting these little snapshots into their lives.
I must say, you draw Aidon better than I ever could, you do him perfectly every time. :'D I love the outfits you draw him in too. If I could make you his fashion consultant, I totally would. XD I never would've thought to put him purple, it surprisingly suits him.
Polina looks fantastic too! You can practically feel how tired and exhausted she it. Here facial expressions and body language are excellent. You also handled the disheveled hair very well. In the state that poor thing's in, Aidon had better help her!
I also really love how you did the old fashioned wallpaper!

THANK YOU THANK YOU!
I wasn't sure how to have Polina interact with Aidon at first, him being what he is, but in the end the customer service route is what I went with since they would only know each other in a non-intimate way and Polina just showing up one day all tattered and torn begging for help would have more of an impact.
Hands, it seems, will never cease to give me trouble.

That's right! The customer's always right... even if their house was just burnt down and they're being hunted by murderous sailors.
Hands never cease to give anyone trouble, they are very difficult. ;_;
