"Fiona?" Diana said. "I'm afraid to ask but how..." she stopped as she looked up seeing her sister snarling down at her, her eyes and fangs that of a beast.

"N-No," Diana managed to say. Fiona grunted as she closed her eyes.

"Yes, its happening," Fiona said. "The turning has started. I can feel it growing stronger every second." She opened her eyes tears of pain and sorrow streaking down her cheeks. "I'm... sorry, but this is the only way... I can protect you."

"Fiona, what are you doing?" Diana demanded.

"I am saying goodbye, while I am still enough me to say it," Fiona said, before she let go of Diana's leg.
