Quinn's eyes bulged as Salina's heel slammed into her abdomen launching her backward. She smashed through the window flying out of the room."And that's three strikes and you're out," Salina said, her legs still up coiled for another strike.
"Jesus, who the hell was that?" Susan demanded.
"An assassin," Salina replied.
"An assassin?" Susan repeated. "For who?"
"For your's truly, who else," Salina replied with smile. "It took them long enough to find me."
"Them?" Susan repeated. "You mean, there's more than one."
"There's always more," Salina replied. "We are everywhere, and no where, we are the shadows. Are you scared yet?"
Outside in the hallway, Fiona and Diana were sitting on the benches. Fiona had her face in her hands.
"We should really have your hand looked at," Fiona said.
"Honestly, its just a sprang, really," Diana said. "I at least want to know whats going on with Salina. Whatever happened back there, that was not the Salina we know." Fiona let out a sigh, then suddenly the lights went off, all the way down the hall.
"What the hell?" the both said sitting up.
