"Here I come, Salina," Xil said and she suddenly launched herself forward, slamming into Salina. Xil carried Salina upward, slamming her against the roof overhang.

"Hurts doesn't it?" Xil said.

"Ahk, what did you do to Samantha," Salina demanded.

"Samantha?" Xil repeated. "Is that her name? Oh, nothing much, she's just sleeping. Why do you care?"

"She saved my life, I owe her a debt" Salina replied. "Why do you care so much?" Xil suddenly gripped Salina's throat in both hands.

"I'm curious..." Xil started.

"Bullshit," Sallina interjected. "I know that look in your eyes. You're afraid. You know something I don't."
