"Its admirable," Shadow said, he turned to Samantha. "You have done so much for Salina already. I fear in doing so may have put a target on your backs. It would be best if you stayed out of this, I would not hold it against you if you choose to do so."

"We already have a target on our backs don't we," Samantha said. "Wouldn't it be better for all of us to stick together on this."

"Wait," Michelle said as she stood up beside her sister. "What about Fiona and Diana? You can't decide this without them."

"Of course not," Samantha said. "Its just something to think about. We will all discuss this when they get back. Although I do think they would agree with me."

"Get back?" Shadow repeated. "Where have they gone?"

"Oh, the usual," Samantha said. "They patrol the streets hunting werewolves and other creatures of the night. Diana also said they had business to take care of."

Meanwhile, in an alley outside a door Detective Ambros stood, checking her watch. She then turned to the sound of footsteps to see Diana and Fiona.

"You're 11 minutes late," Susan said.

"Yeah, sorry about that," Diana replied apologetically. "We were held up."

"I'm not blaming you, it's certainly been one of those nights," Susan said. "Anyway, you're sure about this?"

"Yes," Diana said. "This is The Lost and Found, the first place where we saw those two who attacked the Precinct. We come here every once in a while to resupply our hunting equipment. The owner."

"I know the owner," Susan replied. "Meika Talmari."

"Yeah," Diana said. "She was discussing something with them when we showed up here last. I don't know what it was, but nothing really goes on in this Arke City without her knowing."

"Oh I'm aware," Susan replied with a knowing nod. "Where do you think I get some of my leads for supernatural cases."
