"You need something to eat," Christian prompted, taking Scarlet's hand and added. "Come on, it will help to calm your nerves and get you away from this atmosphere." She felt warm, positive energy go through her when Christian touched her. She looked down at Christian's hand holding her's.

"I guess I could eat something," Scarlet said. "But only if we come straight back."

"Raven's not going anywhere," Christian said. "She will be here when you come back."

"I don't like leaving her alone in this place," Scarlet said as they started walking.

"She is safe," Christian said. "Isn't that what you want?"

"Yes," Scarlet replied, as she walked with Christian down the hall.

"Can I ask you something?" Christian asked.

"Go ahead," Scarlet replied.

"What does Raven mean to you?" Christian asked.

"Huh," Scarlet asked, taken aback by the question.

"I'm just curious," Christian explained. "You're normally uneasy and cautious around humans. But with James and Raven. They mean something to you don't they. Something more than just friends I mean."
