"Now now, Raven, is that anyway to treat a guest?" Lady Necro scolded, and she waved her hand in front of her.

An unseen force tugged Raven's revolver from her hand, where it clattered across the room. She clenched her teeth nerviously as Lady Necro approached her like a cat stalking her prey. Ok, think Raven, Raven thought. She knew she was in an incredibly vulerable position, unarmed and alone before this woman, who according to Scarlet and James' research was a Demi-goddess, or something of the like.

"How did you find me?" Raven demanded, moving along the wall toward a painting, "My apartment is warded against scrying magic." A secret weapon suply was stashed away behind the painting. If Raven could just keep Lady Necro talking... She hadn't killed her yet, so clearly Lady Necro wasn't here to do that.

"Through natural resourses," Lady Necro replied.

"Amber Cypress," Raven said.

"Such insight," Lady Necro said, complimenting her.

"Why couldn't Ms. Foten see you coming," Raven asked.

"Very few can see me coming," Lady Necro said, "yet you did."

"What do you want with me?" Raven asked. Now her back was against the painting.

"You clearly have been keeping an eye on me," Raven said, reaching behind her back hoping that Lady Necro wouldn't notice. Raven pulled out a small balistic knife from behind the painting. Now if I could just get close enough, Raven thought. Suddenly, Lady Necro whipped her hand out, and Raven gasped in pain as something cut her wrist, causing her to drop the knife.
