This is a photo I'm submitting toward CRPhotography's weekly challenge, featured here: fav.me/d8uc6nf . Here's the story behind it.

I thought I'd take a simple approach with this one. It'd been a fairly cloudy, rainy day today and so I figured I'd head out once it cleared up. As the sun was beginning to set (not that you could really tell from the clouds), I decided to leave my house, count to 50 and see where I ended up. I honestly thought I'd get further than I did, but I didn't want to think too much about it. Unfortunatley I forgot my SD card the first time I went out and I didn't realise until I thought I'd snapped a few good photos...whilst irritating, it wasn't the end of the world. Not put off, I went home to get my SD card and, in the spirit of fairness, I repeated the process exactly as before and ended up more-or-less in the same spot. I was sceptical at first, but after looking about I noted that there were a few interesting opportunities. Puddles of rainwater offered some interesting reflections now that the sky was a little clearer, but it was the low-down perspective shots and long distance up the street that took my interest and ended up being my choice for submission.

The aim is for the image to be interesting without moving more than five feet from where you first stop and so being in a suburb, it's inevitably street related. At any rate, despite its simplicity, I hope you like it. It's also the first time I decided to implement a border. Thoughts on the whole?
