An entry to the "Project Needlemouse Concept Art Challenge".If you remember this little badnik, you may remember him from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. As for fans of the show "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog", this might remind you of the character of the same name (he was based on this badnik, in case you didn't know
)This is just one of my very few attempts at shading and lighting a drawing. Still need some improvement on that. Especially on the spheres.
I was going to add an "Oreo" to the picture, but I liked this drawing too much to include a joke item.
Also, the writing below Coconut is the Japanese writing for his name. Its still in pencil because I'm not 100% sure that I got the right writing for him.

He is an old Badnik, a robot created by Robotnik to stop Sonic. He made his debut in the game "Sonic the Hedgehog 2".

Thanks, I didn't really want to use up the Prisma coloring pencils on this. So, I was lightly coloring it. But I agree, I should have made it a little bit darker.
I'm going to take a look at that soon. Surprisingly, the three badniks that I thought everyone would draw (Crabmeat, Coconut, and the Penguinator) were hardly drawn by anyone. Once I have time, I'm going to go draw more badniks, it was actually really fun drawing them.

I use Crayolas and they work fine it doesn't matter what brand you use anyhow. Crayola usually has the best colors. XD

I tried Prisma colors but they are too soft and expensive for me. D:
Coconut and Penguinator is drawn a lot actually, if you look at the blog now. But I haven't seen a single one for Crabmeat yet. D:
And yeah it was fun for me too. XD

Wow! Thats amazing! I love how you've coloured it...IDK but the coulouring is so smooth and"Gentle"...very calming. The detail is amazing, and the inking is so smooth!
